Chelsea!

come back soon!

Greetings. My name is Chelsea Beyler, sister to lead drummer Liz, and I play the bagpipes: the superior instrument in the pipe band. I'm 18 and will be graduating Beyler University (I'm homeschooled along with my 4 siblings). I live in Fishers and have my entire life.

I started learning the pipes from Indiana Caledonia in the Fall of 2007 and have played with them since. I took private lessons from Hugh Sutherland (the best!), now an alumni member, for two years, and will start lessons with Jack Lee in May. This Fall, I will be attending Whatcom Community College for a year then transfering to Western Washington University and playing with the RMM Pipe Band.

Before joining the band, I took piano lessons for 7 years and art for 10. I am now obsessed with the bagpipes and annoy my family to no end with my piping and chantering. I love anything to do with pipe bands - SFU is my favorite one, right after Indiana Caledonia, of course - and Liz and I have attended all the workshops and camps we can.

Besides finishing up school, I am working at Chick-Fil-A and Conner Prairie, where I am on the grounds team doing lawn care. I also manage my lawn business which my younger siblings have taken over.

I love playing my pipes, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, meeting new people, and anything related to missions.
